According to a recent update on Edmunds' long term test C7, there is no customization available for the individual drive mode settings. I thought GM had stated that there would be a custom mode in which you could mix and match settings as you chose, for example track exhaust with sport steering and tour suspension, etc. What happened to this idea?

You have to go through settings , can do through steering wheel controls and set it to change modes . I think it called driver mode link , look in book

The customization settings are pretty weak IMO. From my limited experience I've found that you can un-link the exhaust note, steering and display from driver mode selector. I would have liked to configure say, track mode hud with the touring mode while leaving the other displays linked to their respective modes, but as far as I can tell that's not possible.
