It will be my first vette. I've been enthralled with cars my entire life. I love all corvettes—with a soft spot for C2s, the C4 zr1, and the C6z. I’m coming from a 2003 e39 M5. I cross-shopped the 991s, 981s, F-type, 997 gt3, and C6Z. I used to be at the track every weekend in 01-04 on 1000cc sport bikes when I was working as a scientist and before heading back to law school. I'll be using this as a DD and will be getting in as much track time as I can.

I'm in!!! Just found out today! TR/Blk 2lt Z51 NPP Mag Ride M7 black mirrors and spoiler Black Rims. Ordered from a smaller dealer in NJ on 1/28 2000 on 3/27 and the rest is history. Rather wait 5 years then buy it from Kerbeck. And since I live in NJ and it snowed every other day it really didn't matter. The Centennial will leave and number 6 will arrive.

Good Evening Gentleman,

Learned today I have a TPW of 4/28! Am excited, but the wait is torture! I ordered a 3LT Z51 coupe auto, w/ mag ride, black rims, exhaust, red brake calipers, & cyber gray ext over black interior, on 3/13. Ordered it through Tommy Jr @ McMulkin in NH, the dealers here in San Diego & Orange Countyall got greedy & loaded up on the premium above msrp...had no choice but to go outta state. This forum has been a huge assistance in increasing my knowledge on the process.

You all must be excited as well??

Btw...am a huge Barca fan here as well!

I'm in San Diego as well. I couldn't even get one to do a courtesy delivery!! I called all 5 in San Diego County. So disappointing.

Oh I hear you. Tommy Jr at McMulkin was able to arrange a courtesy delivery at Jimmie Johnson Chevy for $500. Made things easier. What irritated me was Bob Stall & Irvine Chevy were charging $10k + in premiums...terrible for business, I won't take future business there way.

Is your vette being delivered by rail or truck? That's the crappy part is even when the car is built...it's still a month way...

I'm picking it up at Les Stanford and driving it back!! I'm leaving for Barcelona on th 16th to catch the game against Atlético. May will be an awesome month!!

So awesome! That will be a killer game, in addition to Wednesday's game. 4 games played...all ties! I was in Barcelona in mid Feb...what a beautiful city.

The delivery time is what's nuts...would be nice if it was quicker

Nice. Also local to So. Cal. I also ordered from Les Stanford. Here in Orange County, dealers wanted 5-10 over and refused to accept delivery. I'm having it delivered to a dealer that Les Stanford has used in the past with good results out in the inland empire.
