I've been following the previous tpw threads and some cars are showing as shipped on that Monday. Some get produced early. Some also sit for 3 weeks at the factory after production so...who knows!

I'm in th 4/28 club as of the most recent word from my dealership, and I actually just talked with the NCM this morning about scheduling my R8C for 5/27!

I hit 3400 yesterday or Monday. Shane at museum says he thinks mine should roll off line next Wed.

I'm scheduled for TBW 4/28/14 and I've been checking the Kerbeck tracking list. HMMMM! I'm the only 4/28 left on the list that hasn't flipped to 3400! Kind of curious. Maybe tomorrow?

Fantastic Checkur6! Great to hear. We're getting close kids! Build should be next week, followed by a vin# being available, then shipping. I'm assuming 3 weeks to CA.

You're right, despeately seeking my VIN#. Need it to confirm my loan! Do you know HOW you actually get the VIN, do they call you, send you something, do you call your dealer, ...?

Also, I'm in Nevada so we both may be on the same train west from Toledo!

Well hopefully these beasts get here sooner! I've been on a few chat sessions with Chevy customer service (they are very helpful), what they've told me is once the car is built (ie: status code 3800 is reached), a vin # is generated. At that time they can give it to you....great to see this TPW week arrive...it's taken forever it seems

Yes it has taken forever. I'm a computer moron. I don't how the chat room or PM's work. Does Bowling Green send me an e-mail with the VIN or does the Dealer automatically send it to me in an e-mail or do I call them or what?

Try the chat, it is super user friendly & easy. On the lower right of the Chevrolet.com website home page, scroll down to Help Center, click on click to chat. After you click, some one from Chevy will the join the chat. Make sure you have your order # & the state the order was placed in. When you provide them your order # while on chat you will be transferred to someone in customer service who can answer each detailed question...
