Default AW Z51 C7 first 500 and mods

It took me about 8 weeks from start to finish when ordering my vette. The forum was mainly good for me seeing everyone going through the process. But at times I feel like it made the wait seem longer! The C7 is well worth the wait. I was fortunate enough to get it before the price increase. After driving it I would have not of had a problem paying $5k more for it. I will never need to drive a Ferrari after driving this bad boy! I have always had SUV’s Jeep Cherokee, Toureg Range Rover Sport and Escalade. That being said the Visibility is not that good. My Mercedes and Escalade both have mirror blind spot alerts which would have been nice if the vette had it. The attention driving is cool but annoying. From cars always wanting me to race. I drove it up from Houston to Austin this weekend. Hill country was so fun to drive through. On the way back I had a gang well 5 cars that were really ghetto. 2 had rims that came out about a foot. I did not want them to get in front of me so I speed up and then the next thing I know one tried to ram me off the road. Normally I would have just left them in the dust but my wife was in the car and she is not a big fan of driving fast. So I pulled over in the service lane and let them pass. My wife was really impressed that it did not turn into road rage. Speaking of that my wife made my sign a contract with some ridicules rules. She actually really likes the vette but gives me a hard time. She wants me to sell one of my cars. I ordered the 2lt bc I did not like how the 2lt Kalahari was all over the dash. The black has a nice contrast to it. Here is some pictures from this weekend. I can figure out how to post 5 photos at a time.

First mod was tinting the windows. Went 30% in the front and 5% in the back its polarized tent I got sold on that but its really to dark can't see much in the back. Might go to 15%. The real mods begin next Monday having the top painted black and rear tail lights darkened. All reflectors darkened. Still debating on radar I have 9500ix but might do the 9500ci. 2k for a radar seems a little outrages.

I think the mods you mention above would look great. Please post pictures when they are complete. I am really interested in seeing the all black roof. Thanks!

Very nice but I'm biased

Yours will look like this if you decide to lower it.
