So I Got My First California Howdy

I thought the middle finger meant they were just saying hello. Oh wait thats the beverly hillbillies. He was just letting you know the stingray is number 1

I've lived here and been driving the freeways since 1959. Granted there was saracasm in my post, but I guarantee you LA is the road rage capital of the US. You must be very young or don't leave your house much.

Miami was far worse than Los Angeles. AND they're still on their cell phones doing 80 in the rain. It was a pleasant welcoming back when I got home from FL and I actually felt safe on the road again.

Mr. Steven Bell, I will be reporting this language and name calling to you instead of lashing back.

I recently got flipped off by a Prius driver. And it made me feel good. Thank God I will never drive one of those pieces of dung. You all know the old riddle - "what's the difference between a porcupine and a Prius?"

Why else would I get the finger if I was just driving minding my own business and that person was staring me down? Do I really have to explain about the welfare system/situation, and how the government runs it? Or how about raising the minimum wage...ugh...I'm not going to get into politics here.

Maybe you were going too slow in the middle lane, and the driver had to step on the brake to turn his cruise control off, then move over to the left lane and hit resume (accelerate) to maintain his speed. He (or his passenger) was just upset that you were in the middle lane slow poking when you should have been in the right (slow) lane doing less than the speed limit (63mph) trying to dodge the LEO's.
Sometimes it's all about context and point of view.

Thank you Pmata. Guys, I'm going to leave Post #42 there as an example of what NOT to do. Name calling will not be tolerated on CorvetteForum.com. PM warnings have been sent.

The only lane on a highway with a designation is the left lane. It is the passing lane. The right lane is for slower traffic, but only when there is a sign tnat indicates it.
The middle lane has no designation. If you are in the middle lane and you get passed on the left then you've done absolutely nothing wrong. If the other driver, God fobid, has to slow down first before he can pass you in the left lane, then he just needs to get over it.
