Anyone else wondering if the current labor issues at the BG plant might affect build and/or museum delivery? My build is scheduled on 4/15 and delivery on 4/29.

Cheers,

Chris

It is what it is, we can't do anything about it. Of the six new cars I have ordered over the years, this has been my worst new car order ever. I am pushing 7 months now, probably never order another. In the future I will purchase from dealer inventory.

I might be acting a little selfish but I hope the employees don't strike before next week.

Quality? How will the actual builds be effected during labor negotiations?

"Thank you", "Thank you very much". Needed that! Hey, was researching what code 3400 means. From what I discovered; our car's parts are being racked and tagged for production prior to the actual trip down the assembly line. In my case a technician is reviewing the assembly manual on the standard exhaust installation. Think I am the only one on the forum who is going with the standard system.

First 'vette after 20 years of daily-driver Camaro Z28 and SS converts. Z51 Convert, silver/red 3LT interior, with TPW of 4/14.

The C7 pushed my button - wasn't looking for a new car, but this one was too hard to resist...

It seems that you are having a lot of buyer remorse over the NPP... Forget it. The standard exhaust sounds great too. You ordered what you wanted and that's all that counts. Most gawkers (and there will be lots) will LOVE your car and your driving experience will be wonderful. The issue we have now is between 3400 and 3800 is radio silence....I think.
No updates until it's built. I ordered on 3/4 so my wait time is WAY less than yours...so I won't complain. You have waited!!! Just be a bit more patient, it will be worth it!

I am not really sorry that I didn't check the NPP option. I like the look of the standard exhaust pipes (slight center pipe space) over the large horns of NPP. I am surprised how popular NPP is. Radio silence, I like that reference. Actually there is a lot of activity going on. Our car's many parts are currently being placed on the line, positioned for the actual build. Who knows, some of the 4/14 TPW builds might already be on the line. Watching the GM tracker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lilac? WELL!!! I think GM produced a color like that yesteryear - Evening Orchid. Just think all of the parts to build our cars have arrived at the assembly plant.

I wish as well. I checked this morning and it still says "queued for production." My dealer advised me that they update at 4 every morning.

On a positive note I will be going to the Museum this weekend. Can't think of a better pre-production trip.
