Thank GOD! I was afraid there was something wrong, with Me? Anyway I wonder how much of our cars have already been produced, example: engine, transmission, rear axle. With the number of cars produced daily, you would think some of our parts would have arrived at Bowling Green. I can't imagine the logistics involved.

I feel like I'm 60 going on 10! I was about 10 when I noticed the C2 and yelled and pointed at every Stingray that I saw. I don't know how my mother avoided wrecking the BelAir! Waiting for this car is even worse than waiting for the 2006. I sold the 2006 a month ago so I have nothing fun to drive. I'm bouncing off the walls and trying not to make everyone around me crazy!

I feel like a teenager again. I had a '71 C3 (LS6 454 !!, cam, manifold, headers) that I had for a few years during the late '70s, and foolishly sold it. So, the new C7 will be my first Corvette in almost 38 years. I currently have an '02 BMW M Roadster that is a fine car, but there is something about the Corvette that really tickles my fancy. I've been waiting for this car for years, it seems like.

PS: Any of this TPW group also doing the Museum delivery?

Larry:
I too am awed by what must be an incredibly intricate dance of all the components arriving "just in time" that converge and magically reappear as a Corvette. I think that I am as excited about the prospect of seeing the cars in production as I am to actually get the car. Well, maybe not as excited, but close anyway ...

4-14 TPW here, A/W, 3LT, AR,NPP, chrome wheels, NMD
TECHSHOOTER, mind me asking how you found out your exact build date?
I was told that the earliest I could schedule the museum delivery was 10 days from build, so the end of 4-14 is Fri the 18th. Taking 3 buds with me for the occasion, so scheduling is a bit of a challenge.
Anyway, if you would shed some light on exact build dates, it would be MOST appreciated.
Excited and anxious in Nebraska!

Just found out on the GM tracker thread, my order is a 3300, scheduled for production. It is moving along. I noticed other people with TPW of 4/14 have a status code of 3300 too. One more week!

I talked to the helpful museum staffer that I have been communicating with, and he told me the build day, then offered up available dates for delivery. The earliest was 14 days after build. That's fine with me! You might give them a call to see if they can help with your scheduling. They were very helpful for me. I have all my travel plans locked in now, so it just a waiting game for the VIN and the rest of the paperwork to get completed.
Cheers,
Chris

Anyone besides me watching the GM tracker site? With the build week looming on the horrizon anyone of our cars could be already making it's way down the assembly line. Anyone called the museum other than Techshooter about their build date?

Go to the Chevy order tracking web site and fill in your order number and dealer's state.

I called the museum to see if I could get the actual projected scheduled build date on my order. They would supply this info in the past and you might be able to see your car on the assembly line on the normal customer tour, not now! Was worth a try.
