Default Front edge of passenger door rubbing fender

I just realized the small squeak when opening the passenger door was the front edge of the door rubbing the fender.
I was able to yank on the fender with the door open to 'adjust' it some, so it doesn't seem to rub now. Has anyone else seen this problem? I'm wondering if its worth taking in to the dealer to look at the mark/scratch left on the door

I'd definitely take it in and get them to adjust it and fix the mark... under warranty.

Had the same thing. Dealership subbed the work to a body shop and they adjusted fender and fixed the marks. Mine looked just like yours. I'd suggest you take it to the dealer and see what they say. Mine was all done under warranty.

Metal on metal, no it won't buff out, but a door adj and a body shop can make it 100 pct right.

I had the same issue. I took it into my dealer and he referred me to a Corvette certified body shop that they use. They re-adjusted the drivers door and touched up the leading edge of the door. I was concerned that they were going to have to break the paint and shoot the door and fender. But they were able to touch up the spot and then wet sand and buff the area and you would never know there was an issue. It was covered under warranty and my dealer just issued a purchase order to the body shop for the work. Make sure you are going to a good body shop and you should be fine.

Metal on metal? My car isn't metal. You are right that the damage will not buff out. It will need a respray of the door and maybe the fender.

That's a little dramatic. Mine looked worse than that. The bodyshop charged one hour of labor to the dealer and it's perfect.

Saw the same thing with the passenger door at a dealership. Sounds like there is an issue with the passenger door during assembly. I would definately inspect a C7 upon delivery.
