If the trim fit were better looking and not jutting out like in the photo it might not be half bad. It looks like it's been set on top of the window rather than installed as a flush fit.

I love classic retro but it's just that, an older well maintained car. Blending it with today's car isn't going to have a wide appeal. Plus he took an already 'very limited' visibility situation and made it worse.

I absolutely can't stand retro. There is a reason the split window only lasted a year, and that's probably the coolest thing about it. These retro body kits they sell are even worse. As others have said if you want that look then buy an old one.
