I am also in NY, and have been told by my local tinter, that the small quarter windows on the C7 are not considered rear side windows because there is no rear seat, and as a result would fall under the rear window regulation and may be any percentage - anyone know if that is accurate in NY?
I was planning to tint the rear windows only - although I like the look of being fully tinted, there is just too much law enforcement hassle with tinting the driver/passenger side windows.

I did 15% on my C6 and I'm debating to do the C7. You need it down here in Florida.

I think tint looks great plus it keeps the car a bit cooler, but its strictly a personal choice, if you like it get it

Well being that your in the local area, did you just want to come up to Tritek or meet somewhere when she's done and see her in person? Not sure if you will have time or not, but just wanted to throw that out there.

I too like the tint, what does it typically cost for the sides and rear? Many years ago I bought a car with tint and the film scratched easily. I'm sure product is better today. I have a red z51 coming, tint would look good.

Higher numbers (like 70%) mean LESS tint. The number is Visible Light Transmission. So, lower numbers like 30% transmit less light than 70% and therefore appear darker. 70% is VERY LIGHT tint.

...love the tint. All my vehicles have tint. Love the look...love the
coolness....loved the privacy!

....one small detail: I also love to see out the windows after dark!
Now that I'm middle-age, with middle-age vision....I'm sticking to
the factory 70%.

That sounds like a great offer. Do you know when they expect to have it done?
