Default Big discount on limerock green z51

My local dealer has a vert that msrp's over 80k and has a 4900 discount. Here I thought we were privileged to pay msrp's from a forum dealer!

Have you verified that the price is actually correct? Many online dealer listings with large discounts that are not real.

That is still a $75,000 car! Must have every option GM ever dreamed about. My ordered convertible has an MSRP under $65,000, that is considering the new pricing.

Oh I see, there must be a reason for the big discount! Two much equipment or the green color.

So you're saying that b/c you don't like green or the build features it's worthy of a big discount? This forum never ceases to amaze me, OP go buy the car and live happily ever after.

I called them and it sounds like it was marked up to show a 4900 discount.. They call it the competitive price

No, what I am saying is that the advertised price will probably not be honored. We have seen it time and time again on the forum.

I was referring to Modshack, not you Zymurgy. Sorry work computer has filters and the quote feature doesn't show up.

He basically said it was too equipped or b/c it was green.

Green is not a high demand color. It may take discounting to move it. Looks like the Price is inflated though, so it's all a sham...

It is a nice car, I like the green however it is a period color and future demand will be limited. Bummer when your color choice is influenced by future demand, and almost forgot, premium pricing.

Seems to be an abundance of convertibles on the dealer web sites. Anyone have the breakdown of coupes vs convertibles, number sold vs number built on the C7.

Yeah, my local dealer has the same vert advertised for $83K...but they are upfront about not really wanting to sell it!! Guess they like the way it looks in their showroom...

My local dealer has a Z51 convertible in Torch Red(the #1 color choice) for $1,000 off MSRP, which is $79,885. No bull and he has listed the car on this forum(he is a forum dealer). Loaded except for no competition seats.
