Default My wife is unhappy with our Stingray

She complains that the passenger area in our new Stingray is smaller and not as comfortable as our 2011 C6 Grand Sport. She really complains about the leg room.
I am considering getting the 2015 Z07 when it is available but she says not to trade for it unless the passenger leg room is improved. She wants me to post here on the Forum and ask all of you to complain to GM about it so they will fix the problem.
Are all of you getting complaints about the leg room from your regular passenger? Please pass the complaints to GM so they can be aware of the problem and fix it so I can get a Z07.
Thank you.

I'll give you $25K for it right now, no questions....cash money

(my wife has no complaints about the passenger side. Then again, she's only 5' )

I'm only 5' 8" and not crazy about the room either - c6 was much more comfortable

I have had only one passenger in mine since I got it two months ago. She had no complaints, although she is only 5' 3".

I spent more than 6 hours in the driver's seat driving it home and ZERO complaints with the comfort. And I am also 5'8"

I think she's giving you a not-so-subtle hint that she wants to DRIVE the car and put YOU in the passenger seat....

No complaints here.

Time for you to make a trade, and I'm not talking about your car

Luckily my wife is only 5'4, I'm 6'4 and the pass side is a definite no-go for me.

Repo, how tall is your wife?

My wife is 5' 10"-no complaints at all.

Plus, this is not a "fix" as you put it. There is nothing "wrong" with the legroom in this car. I'm sorry you and your wife are not finding it to your liking.

I am thinking it’s the size of the seats they are larger in all ways than the C6 seat, more padding in the C7 seats and sit much higher

Yep, bummer. But I've been sitting in the passenger side of my buddies while waiting for mine. No issues at all. 6' 190#. This is actually quite comfortable!

Riiiiiiight. I'll get right in that. But before I do, just a few questions:
- Is your phone broken? Why can't YOU contact GM.
- Does your wife realize this is a performance sports car, not a Tahoe?

Initially I thought maybe you were joking, but after a few re-reads, I think you are dead serious.

Look, I'm 6'-4" 240# and I fit just fine, so unless she is bigger and taller than me, explain to her that the seats will break in over time and until then buy her something sparkly to distract her from the lack of space.

However, if she is bigger than me...my condolences, and you should listen to every word she says and do exactly as she says.

yes it is way to small but i am happy because that means less people want to ride. but Gm should have atleast had the same legroom or a little more

I would politely remind her that she (probably) wears high heels by choice and if she can deal with that pain she can ride in the C7 without complaining about feeling cramped.

I have sat in the passenger seat and find it adequate. There is plenty of room, the seats are infinitely adjustable (2LT, 3LT). I think the 1LT doesn't have the capability of the upscale versions. I have never sat in a 1LT interior so can't comment on the base option.

My wife is 5'10'' as well and she has no complaints about the leg room. She's not afraid to complain mind you, so i know she's not holding back - she's actually mentioned that she enjoys the ride.
