I posted this on the issues and resolutions thread and had no responses, so I thought I would start a new thread:

I've only had just a very few small issues with my 2014 vert. One that is especially puzzling is my Home link. I have matched/programmed the buttons as directed to my Chamberlain rotating code style garage door opener and the button does work to open and close the garage door SOMETIMES. Well, it will always close the door, but only open the door about 40% of the time. The other times, I have to get out of the car and open the door from the inside. It has gotten frustrating enough that I have started carrying the original visor clip opener that came with the garage door opener, which of course should not be necessary.

Update, it seems the original Chamberlain clicker is not working consistently either. I am wondering if my newly installed Escort 9500ix Radar Detector (which is hardwired "on" anytime the car is running) is somehow interfering with the signal from the garage door opener...

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Pull the power on the radar detector, see if that solves the problem. Sinse both the opener's controller and the home link have issues the radar detector is a good place to start.

Chamberlain garage door openers have know issues with the RF receivers failing with the end result being really poor range from the remote. I've had to replace the main board in my 2 year old garage door opener due to poor reception when using the remote. Contact Chamberlain customer service and they should send you a new board. The swap isn't difficult. You open up the side of the garage door motor, remove a couple screws, disconnect a couple plugs and wires and pull the board so you can install the new one. Make sure you disconnect the plug on the backup battery from the other side of the motor before disconnecting the main board. Once the new board is installed you will need to reset the open and close limits and reprogram your remotes including the Homelink. The instructions for all this is included with the new main board. The total process takes about 15 minutes.

You can certainly try what Larry suggested but having been there done that with the Chamberlians, I suspect your issue is the same one I enountered and unfortunately it's very common with the Chamberlians.
