8 Stingray deliveries counted today/ pics of all the diff color combo's/Mike@Criswell
7 on site and 1 at the Museum got counted for deliveries today. The following are pictures which really tell the story. I arrived at Criswell today at 7am and my day won't finish until 11pm tonight when I meet the Plycon enclosed truck driver headed to Riverview, FL.
~1st up was Calvin from Chambersburg, PA. He Factory ordered a Arctic White Convt with Black top and Red interior. Traded in a 2011 GS Convt with 4,900 miles. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer guy then Calvin and the guys he hangs with. Calvin is part of the Phila Eagles fan club that drives down in the RV for the Redskins vs Eagles Football game every yr and the bunch of them always stop off at Criswell.
~Next up was Andy C from Boyds, MD. Andy ordered a Red/Red 7spd manual 1LT with Red calipers. He was beyond happy!!
~Then came Michael P. from Hampstead, MD. He picked out a Yellow Stingray cpe with 7spd manual...he had the wheels waiting for him to put on and by the end of the day he already had before and after pics. We used to call that a Day 2 car...but he couldn't wait until the 2nd day to make changes.
~Then Rich A from Interlachen, NJ drove down in his '08 Porsche Cayenne GTS 6spd manual and traded it in on his Z51 Convt in Cyber Gray with Black top and 3LT Brownstone interior. This is one beautiful combo!
~In between all the on site deliveries Brian G of Rockingham NC picked up his Laguna Blue Z51 cpe at the Corvette Museum this week. More pics and story later.
~A couple of local businessmen picked up their new Black and Red Stingray.
~Then another gentleman came down from Frederick, MD to pick up his Arctic White Z51 cpe with factory Black full length stripes. Sharp as all heck!!
~And last but not least-All cleaned up and going to Riverview, FL is this Red/Red Z51 cpe. Eric S can't wait to get his hands on this Stingray so I agreed to meet the Plycon truck driver at Criswell 11pm tonight to give him the keys so he can load it up and that way Eric will get his new ride 36 hrs sooner.
So even though my day isn't over until 11pm tonight...it was a good delivery day...but next week...
***I will have some really cool pictures. A Mobil executive that I met at the 24hrs of Lemans Race in France two yrs ago read the TopSpeed article on my 3,000th Corvette delivery in January and sent me an email. He invited me as Mobil's guest to watch the 12 hrs of Sebring Race next Saturday. So be ready for that story and pics straight from the pits/track.***
Regards and remember the Corvette wave!

I'm the cause of Mike's late night. Car is scheduled to be here Tuesday morning. That gives me enough time for at least 3 coats of Zaino before our Tampa Bay Vettes meeting on Wednesday evening.
I can't say enough good things about Mike. He is the real deal in every respect and I couldn't be happier about buying my Vette from him. Next one will come from the same place!!
THANKS MIKE - you

How are you able to know or predict the delivery of any given car to any destination?
It's late Saturday night, yet you are able to know that this car will be at it's destination less than 4 days from now, and available to be driven by it's new owner to a meeting Wednesday night, using Plycon.
Is there special consideration given to your firm because of your high volume of outbound shipments? Just wondering because this doesn't seem to be the norm in the shipping industry.

That is the guy who transported my Corvette to SW Florida back in July. You can trust that your car is in the best hands and will be handled with kit gloves by him, Steve "Spider" with Plycar.

Spider, the way he crawls in and out of the cars without leaving a trace, not a mark.
