Default Does anyone know what changes are in store for the 2015?

I am disappointed that the C7 does not have adaptive cruse control, I also hope they fix the easy exit feature, (I have easy exit in my 2014 Silverado and the darn thing is not easy entry, it moves the seat forward when you try to enter which makes easy exit but difficult entry, the 2014 C7 works the same way and I hope they fix it in 2015).

Anyhow in the next few days I will be probably cancel my order for a 2014 and order a 2015.

The reason is simple I have been at 1100 since Nov and if the darn car suddenly appeared in 4 or 5 weeks it would sit in my garage for a month or two while I traveled cross country. I can't think of many other options that the 2014 does not have that I want except for the cruise control and that is why I am asking if anyone has and inside info or rumors about the 2015

A couple of color changes and a price increase for sure! Other than that...who knows?

Performace video system (which looks very cool).

Will be interesting to see if there is a price increase, current demand is strong enough to support a modest increase.

Normally I would not wait, because there will always be something better next year, why get a 2015 when the 2016 will be better and why get a 2016 when the 2017 will get better. But in this particular situation with me being away on a trip and the 2015s coming right after I get back from my vacation it makes more sense to get a 2015.

No the C7 does not work the same way if you set it up in the settings page properly. You have two choices with Easy Exit. One is the have the seats remain in the Easy Exit position when you get in the car. In this setting you will either have to hold the memory button to move the seats and mirrors back to your driving position before the car is started or start the car first and then hit the memory button once to return the car to the driving position. The other setting which I think is Memory Recall in the On setting which will automatically return the car to the driving settings when you open the door. You have a choice but you just have to set it in the Infotainment systems settings page.

As for your adaptive cruise control request, I would not expect that feature any time soon. I think most of us could really care less about that feature but I can understand how some might like it. For me, I rarely ever use cruise control anyways so it's not something I will ever loose sleep over.

I think 2015 will be some small fixes, color changes, and a small price increase plus a little ZO6 marketing. My guess is 2016 will probably be a year for some small cosmetic changes and 2017 might be a time for a model refresh which usually appears in the middle of a run.

I expect 2017 will have some big changes and updates.
But, that is a long time away.

There will always be something better next year, I remember getting my 1998 Vette and the next year they came out with the HUD. HE double hockey sticks would have to freeze over before I waited another year for something other than the 2015. I am thinking that not getting the 2014 may be a blessing in disguise all the first (or most of the first) year bugs and glitches will be worked out by then. Heck I may even consider switching to an 8 speed instead of a manual

Default So where do you keep your Key fob when driving?

I keep mine mainly in the drink holder sometimes in my pocket but normally drink holder.

I started wearing mine on a chain around my neck in the mid 1990s. It works out well on the cars I have owned with keyless push button start. With my 2014 Silverado I have to use the key to start the truck so I have the key attached to the chain with a quick disconnect connector. My dogs have locked me out of the truck so many time I am the habit of also wearing a spare key that will open the door but will not start the truck because my dogs have locked me out of my car or truck a few times with the key inside the truck. One time I forgot to wear the spare key on a chain and my dogs locked me out of my truck at a gas station around midnight somewhere in Ohio hundreds of miles from home.

I think most of the "first year bugs" have already been corrected. There have been several software updates and improved manufacturing/quality control.

It seems that everyone is forgetting that they also take stuff away in different model years. For example, on the C6 they eliminated the rear hatch pull down handle and the engine bay hood lamp to name a couple of examples.
