Default High rise wing spoiler

Just had it installed. IMHO it looks better than the Z51spoiler, especially on a non-Z51 car. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is tall enough that you can see the top few inches in the rear window. Not an easy install, and the dealer had to reorder the part because the first one didn't fit!

Great pics..thanks. Doesn't it look great when looking straight on the back of the car?

I really like the look, however drilling holes in a brand new car scares the dickens out of me. what if a mistake is made?

Looks great Joe, especially compared to the non-z51 half spoiler. Also thought it looked fine on Greg's build thread

How much was the part with the installation may I ask?

I did it on my C6 Coupe, but it was fool proof with the template provided with the spoiler. Besides, if a mistake was made, it would be covered up with the spoiler. I hear on the C7 the install is much more involved than it was on the C6.

My car came with the Z51 spoiler, but it wasn't installed yet so I negotiated an upgrade to the wing spoiler and some other things. Installation came with it so, in effect, I didn't pay more than what the Z51 spoiler cost, $530 on my window sticker.
If I had bought it outright I think the part is in the $700 range and the install would have been hundreds. The whole rear fascia has to come off.

Yikes! I think I would not want to see my car in that state. I would get queasy

In your situation though, you got a bargain. If I had the same scenario, I think I would opt for this over the Z51, but not sure I would pay in excess of $1k. Anyway, slick look

It's a 2 hour install.....over drill the holes a bit so you can adjust the fit to get it perfect, before you tighten it down using loctite.

Wow, that spoiler looks pretty awesome! I haven't seen that on the C7 yet, but I'm definitely loving the new addition. The dealer did an excellent job! We're not far if you guys ever have any questions or concerns.

I sure hope that's an factory option for the 2016 model Z51 car. I like it.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. It looks awesome! The learning curve of outfitting a new C7 is clearly all the better for seeing what others are doing here.

I've seen this spoiler on the street, and I think you made the right choice in going with the body matching color. In a contrasting black it seems to me to be a little too much, but the body color match pulls it in visually to the overall body shape

When I read "high rise" I got a bad vision, but that actually looks pretty good.

I think it really looks high tech where the current Z51 spoiler looks like something from the past.

I actually thought it might be a "C7R" style wing.
