Default 2 days of 6+ Stingray deliveries with pictures and stories. Mike@Criswell

I was off Friday but I knew Richard and Marilynn of Lancaster, PA had a small window Friday to take delivery. His last Corvette was a 1961 model yr when he was 18...things have changed a bit. So they came down at 11am and drove their stunning Crystal Red Metallic C7 Z51 cpe home in record time.

Next up David F from Houston received his Arctic White Z51 cpe down in Houston. In his own words...
"It is an impressive car. The last corvette I owned was a 1999 Fixed Roof Coupe, and I have owned dozens of other cars since then. Many performance cars, but not many manual transmissions. The last manual was a 2010 Audi R8 V10. The rev match feature seems really fun, and the sound of the performance exhaust is awesome.

Plycar delivered last night while we were at dinner with our 3 daughters and 2 other families. While I was outside taking delivery, one the guys asked my wife "so he is really having a car delivered right now?" My wife replied "yea, this isn't the first time that has happened. You notice I don't even get up to see any of the action." "

Catch you later,
Dave F Houston, TX

~Then the paperwork arrived from Greg C of Nipomo, CA. His Stingray should arrive any day at his local Chevrolet dealer for a courtesy delivery.

~And down at the Corvette Museum Robert D of Las Vegas, NV was picking up his Z51 after too many months of working over seas. Pictures to follow in another post.

~Then Roger H and his wife of Discovery Bay, CA rec'd his paperwork even though he is vacationing in Hawaii. Upon his return he will make a trip to the Museum to get his new Stingray!

~Above was all Friday...below is Saturday from 8:45am-1pm.

Geoff B of Mechanicsburg met me at the dealership bright and early to pick up his Stingray Z51 cpe in Cyber Gray with 3LT Brownstone interior. He traded in his Audi...and roared away in his C7.

~20 minutes after Geoff arrived up pulled Jayson W from Ashburn, VA. Jayson had seen this C7 on our web site and put in an internet request to me about it. He traded in his beloved 2005 Cpe for a Black Stingray with yellow calipers...and it is sharp! He couldn't believe the differences in the two vehicles...night and day.

~At 10am while Geoff and Jayson were finishing up the paperwork in the business office...up pulls Jim B from Baltimore, MD. He put in an internet request the night before and I answered him at 8:22am...he had already departed for Criswell. Jim still owns his 1973 Corvette but got rid of his '98 vette long ago... So I got his 2000 Jaguar Convt appraised and he started the delivery process for a new 2014 Stingray cpe in Silver with Red interior that he picked out of our inventory. Happy Birthday Jim!!

~Of course my 11am apt showed up right on time. Al C and his wife drove up from Woodbridge, VA to pick up their factory order Laguna Blue with Kalahari Z51 cpe. Al traded in his 2007 Yellow cpe and could not have been happier with his C7 order.

~The rest of the afternoon I answered emails and phone calls...took a few deposits. Look on my Corvette dedicated web site for your next Corvette and contact me desk direct 301 212 4420. http://criswellcorvette.com/mike_furman.aspx

~~I certainly did not invent the phrase "Multi task", but I know how to do it. My Mgr watched it all unfold and just shook his head.

Thanks for clicking on this thread and coming along for the 24 hr ride.

Regards,

Mike Furman

Wonderful additions. Congrats to all the new owners. I'm somewhat partial to one of those colors though I would be happy with any of these...

The 24 Hours Of Furman at Criswell was busier than when Furman was personally at the 24 Hours of Lemans!!!

Really like that Crystal Red Metallic with the Carbon Fiber Roof and black wheels. Very Darth Vader-esque.

I thought that the Carbon Fiber Roof was on very limited constraint. So, how did Furman and Criswell get this option through the process to be built?

Default Cyber grey

I got to drive the cyber grey/ brownstone home! I'll post more later. Awesome car. I was amazed at how many other drivers went out of their way to give me a 'thumbs up' when they say the car. My favorite was a mid 40's female driving a caddy cts sedan.

Glad your ride home Geoff went well.
