What if any discounts on 2015s?
I went to see a forum dealer today to place my order on a 2015 Torch Red on Red , 2lt, 8 speed auto, nav, dual exhuast, z51...Told me that there will be NO discounts..MSRP on all 2015s...
Can anyone tell me if they got discounts?

I don;t see why with all the early adopters dealers would offer discounts.
Local dealers here won't discount the 14s left on the floors LOL and people are buying them!!
I believe most Corvette buyers don't quibble for a few thousand dollars when buying their dream cars..Me I can wait for discounts on used C7s

My local dealer (small town) says he'll order me a car at invoice.

Getting supplier pricing (if avail at delivery) on my non-Z51 order. And if not, then dealer has guaranteed me a hefty discount from MSRP that will be very close to supplier. Ordering out of state and taking courtesy delivery

I am getting supplier pricing; which is $6k+ off MSRP on my 2015 Z51 coupe. To get supplier pricing, all you need to do is belong to a credit union. Dealer is back east, but I am paying a local dealer $300 to do a courtesy delivery.
There is really no reason to pay MSRP

Why would a seller discount something that sells out at a higher price?
A seller discounts the item that no one wants.
Having a hook up is something different. Then you are playing outside the normal supply and demand function.
Are you saying you want to get hooked up or are you saying the C7 should be discounted by its own merits?

confused on credit union discount ,I received my authorization number from GM, but when I checked out current offers it states $ 0 off on corvettes, so how does this work if people are getting 6k off the 2015's that are being ordered. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The lowest I have heard from a forum member is $500 under invoice for a 2015 .
I believe he was from New York . The dealer sold all cars to the Corvette club members at that price.

Platinum Supporting Dealership
That would be us! The Rochester Corvette Club has close to 400 members and is a big supporter of our dealership. Selling new 2015 Corvettes at $500 under invoice price is a way for us to give back and help build our Corvette business.

it still all comes down to supply and demand. there are only a handful of dealers working the allocation system (vs total corvette dealers).
it also depends how long it takes to earn after you turn.

I went to a number of dealers and some said "No discounts- full MSRP", two said they would give discounts. At the time no '15 pricing was out, but one dealer said since I was a Retired Vet, he would give me supplier. A second dealer said "get the authorization number for Military discount and we will honor it".
Naturally, taking these dealers at their word requires a leap of faith, but all things being equal, they at least acknowledged the discount and said they would honor it.
I have not returned to order mine until GM puts 2015 Stingray on their Military build site. I want to have my actual discount pricing from GM in hand when I make my deal. If I've learned one thing in my 64+ years, always have your "ducks in a row" when going to a car dealer.
You may find that dealers with stores in high population density areas stick to MSRP since they have a larger customer base to deal with. Dealers in smaller towns or outlying areas can only sell so many cars since their population density is less. (unlike the forum members that travel far and wide to get their car, most people buy locally).
Corvettes are niche vehicles with a much smaller buyer pool than an Impala, Cruz or even a Camaro. Although if you frequent this forum, you'd think otherwise since everyone here owns or wants to own a Corvette.
The guys that bought a 2014 are not likely to run in a buy a 2015. So a dealer that sold 10 or 20 Corvettes in 2014 lost those buyers when he 2015's arrive. Unless he turned away 10-20 buyers in 2014, it's likely his sales will slow a bit in 2015.
There are hardcore stores that will wait for the guy that wants the car bad enough to pay sticker (or more). Others realize any sale they make puts money in their pockets and keeps the business going. So a quick sale that nets $6k is better for them than a lingering "in stock" car that can yield $10K net but costs them money to have on the lot until it sells, on the hopes that someone will walk in and pay "full boat" for it.
The more C7's sold only softens the market for others wanting one.

GM Supplier build sit does not have 2015s available for supplier pricing , so it has to be the dealer who gives the discount. The authorization is not there from GM . They will not get any money from GM and will use up an allocation to sell at "supplier pricing"
Basically it is just a discount. Down here MSRP is the rule.

I have a dealer here in Dallas that will honor both supplier and GMS pricing on all Corvetts regardless of the equipment. He has a few in stock and a few 2015's to order. Just to clarify, yes, even on Z51 packages. PM me if your interested.
