Remember who the target audience is, anyone who doesn't believe me hasn't experienced a Viper Owners Invitational.
well how do you explain that 400 Veyrons have been sold to Viper's what, 450?

I'm sorry, I don't understand exactly what your asking. The Veyron is really a completely different market.

the Veyron is a million plus car, so one, there are a 10000X less people in it's price range and two, their, Bughatti/VW's budget for R&D is a lot less than FIAT/Chrysler's yet they've sold almost as many.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info. ,but I can assure you that the worlds most expensive halo car has a power train budget that far and I mean far exceeds the Vipers budget. I don't think you understand what it took to get this car back into production, the money is very limited. Just getting it to pass emissions with the mild boost in power was a difficult challenge. The SRT team is a very small band of hard core gear heads, they get the job done. If you'd like I can dig up info for you regarding the cars history and how things were developed. The old ACR was developed by a couple of guys working in secrecy at night on a penny's budget. It's the ultimate hotrod, if you don't get it, I can't help you.

Ummm....you do know that the Veyron has been on sale since 2005, right? They don't sell 400 Veyrons A YEAR, that's 400 since 2005.

Not sure how the Veyron got in a Ralph and Viper discussion, but here's some info on the Veyron and how much VW/Audi LOSES on each Bugatti they sell:

Outraged? What are you talking about? I'm surely not outraged.

But, lemme see, betw. all the cars that Chrysler Fiat makes and sells here in USA (maybe it's Fiat Chrysler since they are the "acquiror")------Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Dodge, which ones hit the "great car" category in any poll or testing of any criteria, or all criteria?

Fit, finish, nvh, power, comfort, Power initial owner survey, mpg, IIHS, reliability, resale value, ..... Not many, eh?

One would think, and I do, that the customers and owners, and potential customers of Fiat Chrysler might be the ones who are "outraged," don't you agree?

I don’t think he’ll be answering any time soon. The reply you quoted was posted 4 years ago and he hasn’t logged onto the forum since last summer.
