Screw Ralph is you like he is chickesheet for letting Dodge leave nascar as well....but before you do screw him. or hell after even go really look at a Viper...damn...
Its is a fantastic piece...and it looks like a Viper like a Porsche looks like a Porsche.

The only real issue with the Viper is the lack of funding for the power train. The fact that it does not rely on millions of units being sold across an entire line of cars and trucks puts it in a very difficult spot. Viper owners want at least 750 HP, the fact that that did not happen this generation was a huge sore spot. No Viper owner can stand the idea of a Vette equaling it or god forbid beating it. Remember who the target audience is, anyone who doesn't believe me hasn't experienced a Viper Owners Invitational.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info. ,but I can assure you that the worlds most expensive halo car has a power train budget that far and I mean far exceeds the Vipers budget. I don't think you understand what it took to get this car back into production, the money is very limited. Just getting it to pass emissions with the mild boost in power was a difficult challenge. The SRT team is a very small band of hard core gear heads, they get the job done. If you'd like I can dig up info for you regarding the cars history and how things were developed. The old ACR was developed by a couple of guys working in secrecy at night on a penny's budget. It's the ultimate hotrod, if you don't get it, I can't help you.

Not sure how the Veyron got in a Ralph and Viper discussion, but here's some info on the Veyron and how much VW/Audi LOSES on each Bugatti they sell:

"In honor of jpee"
But, lemme see, betw. all the cars that Chrysler Fiat makes and sells here in USA (maybe it's Fiat Chrysler since they are the "acquiror")------Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Dodge, which ones hit the "great car" category in any poll or testing of any criteria, or all criteria?
Fit, finish, nvh, power, comfort, Power initial owner survey, mpg, IIHS, reliability, resale value, ..... Not many, eh?
One would think, and I do, that the customers and owners, and potential customers of Fiat Chrysler might be the ones who are "outraged," don't you agree?

Outraged? What are you talking about? I'm surely not outraged.
