Installed Lashway Carbon Fiber front splitter and side skirts!!
#21
Thank you everyone !!!
Also driving it around, I don't scrape at all. In fact, I scrape less because part of the install process is removing the front air damn pieces in front of the wheels. They would scrape all the time. This is definitely the splitter you want if worried about scraping things or hitting curbs because it doesn't sit that much lower than the bumper itself.
Also, my car is lowered on factory bolts as far as they will go. It dropped 3/4" in the front and over a full 1" in the rear by doing that. Any lower and it would be risky IMO.

I decided I'll wait for the Z06 taillights to come out.

Your car looks great. Be careful with putting on the taillight blackout covers. They look great and I wanted to do it, but then read a story about a guy getting sued after HE WAS REAR ENDED and lost because he had the his taillights obstructed.

I normally go 15% on my rides, but this car has short windows and little light that comes in so I went 35% all around. Totally fine for me. This is also the first car in a while I haven't tinted the windshield and I'm fine with it.

Quality of carbon fiber is great, but not perfect. Not as perfect as the carbon fiber roof, but nothing anyone would noticed unless they put their noses and eyeballs right next to the pieces and inspected it. Since it is hand made, a threshold of tolerable imperfections has to be expected, but I'm happy with it and I'm close to being a perfectionist... Just ask my dealership
I have the carbon fiber roof so it works well with the pieces. If I didn't have the exposed CF roof, I'd have preferred carbon flash instead. CF really ties it I'm together IMO.
yep, hate chrome. Thanks to, plastidip it looks 100x better!
Can't wait for my airbrushed black emblems from Pete @ Showstoppers now, along with my taillight blackout covers. Then my car is 99% complete.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, glad you like the mods I've done!
Your car looks awesome!!!
These are the street versions. Glad I got them instead of the race as it is easy to accidentally step on them already. The race versions stick out a but further and I can see them getting messed up sooner than later IMO

Those look real good. I might look into these. I was going to install the RPI Designs side skirts, as I liked the way they contoured to the lower body panel, so you didn't have that gap, to me looks a little out of place. The only problem with those were you had to drill into the SIDE of the car when you install them, and if they were ever removed you would have about 10 holes in each side of the car.
Do you have a closer picture of them showing the gap above them, where they meet the lower rocker panel?

The splitter is held on by 10 bolts, no DST. Only the center of the side skirts are held on by DST, along with 7 bolts at the ends.
