So, what's the big deal? Some forum dealers have been selling Z51's for $1000 or more off MSRP since day one. Still not the deep discounts you have predicted.

I guess the log jam due to the Z51 constraints wasn't a big as some thought it was.

Judging by the deal I got, they weren't in November either...

Thump your chests 'old men'. I guess that is all that is left to do for you guys. Do you find yourself arguing directions with friends? I thought so.

Far fewer places offering discounts on Z51's than non-Z51's. Plenty of dealers asking (and getting) over MSRP.

Joe, why do you seem to be celebrating this in a negative way? In my opinion, when Z51 cars start coming down in price, that will be a good thing for everyone. GM is still selling everything they build so it just means people can get an already stellar bargain at an even better price.
You have to stop being so upset about what the C7 means to previous generatons... it's not worth it any longer. The C6 is still a great car. Stuff like this just makes you sound bitter and there is no need to be

Wrong again, Joe. Z51's are still heavily constrained. Some dealers decided early on to offer a discount to try to build their Corvette sales. Some other dealers have started to match. You still won't find Z51's sitting in dealer inventories unless they are asking over MSRP. By the way, as reported many times and confirmed by dealers, places like cars.com have totally inaccurate inventories (and prices).

I spoke to just about all the forum dealers the past 2 weeks and none of them are discouting THAT much. (...and yes I asked for a larger discount) If THEY aren't discounting that much and they are the ones that have 100s of allocations, then how can the smaller Corvette dealers do it?
...and offering a discount of $3k for a Z51 that won't be delivered until May or beyond doesn't count, as by then it will be model year end and there will probably be larger discounts than that.

Where can these $3k discounts on the Z51s be, and I'm talking about one that can be assembled and delivered in 2 months +/-?

I keep hearing that there are Forum dealers offering discounts on Z51 cars but I haven't been able to find one. I have talked to a couple of the best known names on this forum, and I have been in local showrooms as well.
All I keep hearing is no discounts on Z51's. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I am just a reply or a PM away.

Reliable Chevrolet (Wes Milby) was selling all coupes and verts for $1000 off MSRP. I believe their allocations are sold out.
Dave Smith Motors was also discounting. Not sure how much or what their allocations status is (but I believe they too are sold out).

I was asking where the $3k discounts on the Z51s were.

Plenty of people are buying C7's at a discount including the Z51. Now that Z51's are starting to show up in dealer's unsold inventory, even more discounting will occur.
I don't believe there is nearly the same amount of Z51 constraints as there was a couple of months ago, and since the early buyers are now driving their C7's, there will be more and more C7's, including Z51's showing up at the dealers, unsold. Even though the Z06 is still a year away from production, I believe it is already affecting 2014 Z51 demand, as some people that were looking at a 2014 Z51 will wait for the Z06. Look in the Z06 section and see the number of people(even at $90-$100K a pop) that are waiting for the Z06, instead of buying a 2014 Z51. As demand for the 2014 Z51 falls(already evident), so will the prices.
