Leather Care recommendations?
What have members used/recommend for leather care on their new C7?
I have used Eagle One Leather Care Conditioner in the past, but, was wondering what forum members are using on their seats now.

I use Lexol products. My C5 is 13 years old and the seats are still like new. I apply it when the seats are warm and rub it in with my hands. I use it 3 or 4 times per year.

I really like Zaino's leather in a bottle. Keep in mind many people believe that "conditioning" modern leather is not needed as the leather actually has a synthetic/plastic layer to protect it. Therefore, conditioner doesn't penetrate the leather like it did in the old days. These people would say that proper cleaning is all that is really needed. I tend to believe it isn't truly needed.
I like to condition the leather periodically, regardless as to whether it is really needed, because I enjoy detailing and because I personally find that it seems to "freshen" the surface. However, this "freshening" could simply be the cleaning process.

I used to be dead set on Lexol, I still use it on my DD, but once I tried Zaino I do not see myself changing, Great stuff!!! It does an outstanding job, it brings back the smell, and you can use it on Vinyl also so it does not matter I your seat backs or other areas are Vinyl, you are good to go. Also it is NOT glossy either.

so true..and because the whole interior is essentially a plastic finish, I use one product for everything inside - I was looking for a product that would make the interior look NEW - meaning not reflective, oily or glossy like amour all of the old days.... found it here - and it leaves a mild peppermint smell , last for months..

Some people use 303 Aerospace on EVERYTHING inside the car for the same reason. I like the Zaino leather product because it smells like leather for the old days

Adams Leather Conditioner
Been a fan of this for a while. Can be used on vinyl and leather. Has a slightly "leathery" scent. Not greasy or high gloss. I think whatever you use, it's a good idea to use it on somewhat regular basis say once a month, more often if it spends a lot of time outside.

I've been using Larry Kosilla's regimens for a couple of years with great success. I like his philosophy of using the most pH balanced formulas and not adding anything into the chemistry that doesn't need to be there.
I've also adopted his cleaning methods and they have kept my cars scratch free and looking great.

leather protector
still using Lemon Pledge. Been using it on all my Vettes since 1964. 1975 was the trophy car, newer ones are driven more often. Never heard one bad thing. try it you may be surprised. even use it on my 3-M Carbon Fibre Racing Stripe.

Don't waste your money on fancy leather products. A previous poster was correct in saying that all the leather is coated anyway. Weather you use a leather product or furniture polish will not matter.

For leather Lexol works well. They also make a cleaner just for leather. Meguiar's makes a good leather treatment as well. For vinyl & rubber I have always used Meguiar's #40. It cleans and treats no glossy oily look. Has UV protect in it as well.

Adams makes a good leather treatment but the best I've found yet is by Ford - King Ranch stuff. It does great on the leather and smells amazing.
