Pics from NA International Auto Show - Detroit
Took the wife to the Charity Preview last night for the NAIAS in Detroit at Cobo Hall.
They had the C7.R, the Z06, two convertibles and a coupe or two at the display. All the Stingrays / Z51's were 2014 model year. For the Charity Preview the Stingrays and Z51's were open for folks to sit in and inspect. I don't remember any competition seats being available to sit in (charity event, champagne and gin was flowing...).

View from the hotel at the RenCen looking at the Detroit River, Hart Plaza, and Cobo Hall. The left side of the river is Windsor Ontario Canada. Off in the distance you can see the Ambassador Bridge and then "oil city"...
Sheryl Crow was the entertainment, first song was Steve McQueen. We stayed for a couple songs that hit the road for other events that were going on.
Models were in most of the displays; wife has designs on those shoes - BIG TIME. Might be a condition of putting the deposit on the 2015.
New Targa got a lot of attention. The color really stood out, almost as much as that chicks red knees...hmmm
The $900,000 Porsche hybrid. It was in a glass room with security guards managing the door. At the preview you could go in, limited numbers at a time, to look at the car and sit in it. Um, we passed.

Awesome pictures! I hope the Z06 makes an appearance at the New York Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center. Unfortunately, that show is at the same time as the bash, so I don't know if it'll be able to be there

So cool! I think I saw you while I watched it on Channel 7...they did some great coverage of the event for us locals. Did you see the guy in the yellow suit standing next to the yellow Z06? Priceless! Glad you posted...I was too lazy to get up and take some pics off the big screen for the forum folks.
