Default This is what NPP sounds like...

I haven't seen any good exhaust note videos on youtube yet... so I made one. Turn up your volume because it was recorded without automatic gain control for more dynamics:

This is full open. The "off" setting under engine management or whatever.

I have the NPP on order. I wasn't overly impressed.

SoCal that sounds amazing. What else would you need than that. I bet it just sings under load at the top of the rev range.

Maybe it's just me, but a sound clip of revving an engine always sounds bad and is annoying.

The only sound clips I get any value from are either the sound of a car driving away, or the sound recorded inside the car as you're doing real driving.

Edit: BTW I have the NPP option, and it is amazing. There's no sound like dropping down a gear and passing someone.

On order: Torch Red Z51
Default Total agreement

Just revving it in neutral is useless . Sure doesn't indicate what it's like while running to the red line under a load, shifting and doing it again. Also the downshift burbles out a nice sound

Just wish the C7 NPP was as loud as the C6 with it, which it is not. Love the drone sound and smaller exhaust on the C6 created more back pressure that the C7 doesn't have. I guess you can't have everything in life...

Good video. Could you make one with the mic/camera inside the car, while driving?

You need to hear the exhaust under load through the rpm to really get the true sound. Idle clips are useless and revs tell little more.

Thank you for the video clip. Sounds realistic to me. Prolly the most accurate one on YouTube, with ALC/AGC off.
