I have a z51 on order but even I know that the Corvette has absolutely no chance against an mp4-12c. A 458 has a hard time keeping up with the 12c.

On a tight track like Willow Springs or VIR, the Z51 will run pretty close to the McLaren and is more predictable in the limit. (The 12C has a habit of soiling driver's pants at certain times.)

My guess is the LT4 equipped Z-car will be a better match. The McLaren has a turbo charged 3.8L V8....the supercharged 6.2L LT4 will have bags and bags more torque at all RPMs and, combined with that slick e-Dif, it will be the great equalizer, regardless of relative peak HP.

Great commercial, BTW. GM needs to hire this guy !
