a new garage floor for the new C7?
my C7 is due to arrive this coming week. i am looking at the crummy garage floor and thinking it should be new also.
does anyone have an opinion on putting sheet vinyl on your garage floor. i do not want to paint or epoxy it.
the sheet vinyl flooring from G-floor and other similar suppliers claim it withstands hot tires and all sorts of things.
it comes in commercial 74 mil and industrial 84 mil thickness. i need opinions on that also, assuming enough people are on board with the product/concept at all.
thanks for your opinions and experiences.

Sorry can't offer any help with this. Check out a forum called Garage Journal. You'll probably get a better response over there.
You can probably find hours of reading material too

If anyone asks:
"Car is not leaking. It's marking its territory."

Go to Rubberflooringinc. I am in the process of building a new garage for the new baby and I am going to install one of these floors. I think you will like what you see. They have many pics and reviews for you to check out. Hope this helps!

I have this MotorMat floor that is made up of 1 ft.sq plastic tiles. I have had this floor for 10 years and it still looks like this pic. I picked the tiles up from the factory in Salt Lake City at 9AM and finished the installation by 3PM the same day. They do not mark with hot tires and can be cleaned with water and a brush. I live where there is copius salt on the roads in the winter and the floor still is bright and colorful.

floor goes nicely with the red cars! any problems with hot tires marring or destroying the vinyl?

I' am with you Louloumax, really don't feel like prepping the floors. Rolling out two of these mats on my floor sure seems easy but I'am concerned with hot tires and rolling a floor jack around.

i guess we need to research the 5 year guarantee. i haven't seen any reviews of the product over a long term. most just say how easy it is to unroll the vinyl. duh.
