Round tailights #?!&#*&$#?! Forgeddaboutit. It's over, done, finished. The C6 has had a great run, but is now obsolete, along with round tail lights( until it gets brought back as a "retro" look 20 years from now etc). The initial whining bawling resistance to change by some has faded out, and has been replaced by the enthusiastic cacaphony of supportive voices loving and wanting a C7.

Why the fixation by some Vette owners on the round tail lights? The back end of the C6 looked dated by the 2013 model. Why would anyone want to ruin a C7 with dated tail lights? Hey, How about adding a split chrome bumper to the rear and side exhaust as well?

If when ordering there was an option of that round version
or the what see from gm. I would order the round, not because
of round, just looks cleaner.

Now I saw a post where someone chopped the square light
and not black surround or that drooping side point and they
looked better too.

gm drawing department must have used newbies

the C7 is SO much nicer and streamlined than the C6 and partly because of the rear end. Lets move on!!!

I welcome the change part... I'd glad to see something different. But I'm not too thrilled with what GM came up with though.

But since the rear of the C7 is the only thing that does not [ChrisMatthews] send a chill up my leg [/ChrisMatthews]... it's moot anyways.

I suspect the OP is inquiring as to the status of a round lamp conversion kit, not opinions as to whether or not that is . The answer is that there is nothing out yet. RPI claimed they were about to complete one ('it's going to paint next week"), but that was months ago and we never saw a finished product. Best bet is painted bezels at this point.

I just posted as an FYI. Now that I see this was out almost a year ago..lol. I am waiting for the Z06 to come out. The new rear and tail lights have grown on me, So I would NOT change to Round.. I also saw this thread.
