My climate control and heated seats work fine. You need to see the dealer or eat a lot of beans.

Seriously, I have owned three C6's so far [3LT-4LT packages] and have never used the seat heater once. In fact, I told my wife that if it is cold enough to use the seat heater then it is too cold to drive it with the summer tires.
Conversely, my Infiniti DD has fantastic seat warmers [and coolers] that heat up quickly and need to be turned down from the highest setting after just ten minutes in use.

My seats work fine. This week the temperature was 3 degrees when I drove my Stingray. Everything worked as I expected. The seats warmed up quickly.
The tires held onto the road. Steering was perfect.
I had a great day in my C7.

I do not really like heated seats, but my wife does and she said they are way worse than my C6 or her Escape. Has Customer Service chimed in on this?

Mine work fine. The temperature control is good as well. It is either not correct in your car or you have different expectations. That is not a slam or criticism, each of us has our own standards..

Based on the replies I've read it would seem that those of us with seat heating issues do in fact have a problem since a number of owners have ones that work as expected. (that is like previous 'Vettes or other GM cars with seat heaters) If any of you have yours repaired please post what the fix entails; a flash, part replacement, etc. so we can know what is involved when those of us with stored vehicles bring ours to the dealer several months from now.

Hey y'all,

I talked with one of my internal resources and when the holiday break is over we are going to check more into your heated seat concerns. I am not sure if it is HVAC related or if there is another reason. I will investigate!

Just FYI on my day, this is the second thread that has come across my desk about farting. The other forum I was on even provided a poem to illustrate the concern.
"...a performance car was what he had been sold
but now that smell, much worse than mold"

Today has been quite funny!

I will keep you posted when I find more out about your heated seats. If you do want to go to the dealership, please let me know. I do want to document the concerns in my system.

Thanks!

I wonder if they work the same way goldwing heated seats work. On a goldwing they do not get very hot on outside temps higher than 50 degress. But as it gets colder the seats get warmer. When I was driving the car back from NH in cold temps the seats got good and hot but now in Texas in temps in the 60s they are not soo hot.

Could that be it some sensor on how hot the seats get from outside temps?

I too have heated seats that hardly get warm. My Volt and wife's Lacrosse will burn my butt in less than 10 min.

Kelly,
Thanks for following up on this. I called my dealer today, Performance Chevrolet in Chapel Hill, NC and the service manager, Jason, said he'd do some research and follow up with me. He said he knew of the bulletin on the HVAC system but didn't know if the two were related. I sent you a private message with my full VIN and also an issue related to my mirrors which a few others have confirmed as well. I'm really glad Chevy has customer support folks on the forums. I've had a bunch of other cars, but never had a manufacturer that patrolled forums.

Mine is #307 and made the trip to Nashville before coming to my dealer. Obviously the seat heaters were not something fixed there...

4572, very weak heated seats. Also appear to have HVAC issue. Sent a PM to Kelly , assume she will be able to set up work order with the dealer and the two issues are related.
