Best USB to use for music???
I ordered some low profile jump drives for when my car gets in, but I was wondering which is the best drive in the car to use them on?
The one behind the stereo, or the one in the console? Any advice?

Does the USB port behind the screen power down when you shut the car off? I noticed the one in the center console does not so I have to unplug the USB or it will stay powered on needlessly.
I'm hoping the power goes off for the port behind the screen.
Thanks in advance!

I started with a USB, but recently went with a 32MB SD card. It's a lot more convenient as you don't have the USB sticking out. On my car I have had less problems when I format using NFST instead of
FAT32, not sure why.

SD card is the way to go. Fits in real nice and leaves the USB ports open for phone chargers, etc. I have a 32 GB SD card in mine.
I've also found that you can back up your settings to the SD card or USB. I haven't tried to restore them yet but if it works that would be nice to not loose all your infotainment settings if you loose power.

I found it in the settings menu on the Infotainment system. I'm not sure if it's in the manual. If you go into the settings menu it's at the bottom of the menu. It's where the software versions are listed. I've done the backup and it said it was a success but I haven't yet had to restore the settings to see if it actually works.
