Default 3D NAV view is ridiculously cool

I love this feature. Yes, I'm a geek.

But I'm a geek with a Stingray.

Is that a true depiction of the actual buildings? If so, then yes, it's way cool!

Yeah. I just hope it's easy and inexpensive to keep up-to-date.

Yes, it's a perfect view for orienting myself when I put the Stingray into hover-mode and fly through the city. Unfortunately when driving at street level it is sometimes difficult to match ground floor doorways with the building roofs pictured!

If you can see it! I like the presentation on the dash, you only have to take your eyes off the road for a split second, with the phone takes seconds to interpret. That is if you don't drop it on the floor or under the seat.

Nav would be really cool if they could project directions in the HUD so your eyes never leave the road.

I had mine updated but I'm not sure what this means....? They sure keep these GPS maps up to date! San Francisco is getting some rework

I remember my "low tech, low res HUD" in the C6Z had that.

I sure wish they would have put the "speed limit" on the dav screen, like Ford does with their SYNC system. Not much use having it available in the center of the digital tach via the "information" options. It needs to be on the nav screen.

Isn't more sensible to have the speed limit near the speedometer, so you can compare the two, without looking back and forth?

Fenway! Are you from the Boston area? I went to college like two blocks from Fenway and lived in the Back Bay area during that time. I miss that city dearly.

Also, very cool nav!
