Default My 5yo daughter told Santa she wanted a Stingray just like Daddy's

They don't make a Power Wheels in Laguna blue one so I made one for Santa. Took a week to do a complete repaint and paint the wheels.

The paint was Krylon fusion for plastic and the color was safety blue. I added a mist of blue metal flake paint I bought at Pep Boys to give it some metallic and then added Krylon Fusion clear. The color is pretty close if you wanted to paint some plastic stuff yourself.

NICE.....all kidding aside it will stick with them....great memories.....I was driving my youngest daughter to soccer games at the age of 6 in the corvette.I also flew with her to Kentucky to tour the plant and pick up my 08 C6 when she was 13....She is now 19 and planning her trip to the NCM to pick up her new Corvette and the best thing is she plans to take me this time!....go figure???But awesome at that!

Thanks everyone. It's nice to hear that there are other dads on here that don't think I'm nuts. When my daughter told the mall Santa that she wanted a Stingray, he was confused. When she got off his lap, Santa called over my wife and told her what my daughter said and then said "good luck". I have only had my car 2 months and I couldn't be more prouder of her. We had no idea that it is influencing her this much. She gets so excited to ride in it.
