=========================
And since the best cars deserve only the best of care, the 2014 Corvette Stingray comes standard with Chevrolet 2-Year Scheduled Maintenance coverage† that includes oil and oil filter changes, 4-wheel tire rotation and a 27-point vehicle inspection.
=========================

Here is the more detail information when I click on the coverage detail
==========================
Covers only scheduled oil changes with filter and tire rotations according to your new vehicle’s recommended maintenance schedule for up to 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Does not include air filters. Maximum of 4 service events. See participating dealer for other restrictions and complete details.
==========================

I went to my dealership thinking about doing an oil change a few days ago and was not informed about it and instead quoted $120 for an oil change for my Z51. I almost did it but did not have the time to do it. Now I see that it is supposed to be free.

Hope the information helps you all out!
Wont work for me. I changed oil at 1000 miles. Will change again at 3000 miles and then every 3000 miles after that using Mobile 1 synthetic

I plan to put the car to use for regular HPDE and will be changing the oil after every couple of events. Overkill? Probably but I had 130 days on my Porsche and never had an engine issue.

And hello to the group ! I've been lurking for quite a while and expect to have a new car sometime in February.

My Volt is due every 2 years, I brought it in for a change and when I asked for a bill so I could pay they told me it was free

My dealer changed the oil/filter at 5,700 miles. 23% life left. I normally have oil changed between 50% and 40% oil life, but piled miles on during a trip to Florida. Interesting they did put in Mobil One at no additional cost. Wonder if they would have done that if I were not a regular customer using Mobil One on all three cars?

Champion Toyota (now AutoNation Toyota) in Austin gives free oil changes for life when you buy a new or used vehicle from them. It's a pretty good deal if you keep cars for a long time.

Try giving the DIC a chance. There is a fairly sophisticated algorithm based on temps, Rpms, miles, and other factors that determine how oil life decreases. I know on the C5s, which introduced this system, if you only did easy highway miles, you could get well over 10000 miles before the system indicated an oil change. However, a weekend of track use at HPDEs could run through most of the oil life, based on the hard use. The same thing with a day of doing 1/4 mile runs.

It's actually in the owners manual for the side to side rotation.

This...the GM engineers did a thorough job on this aspect of car design. I no longer do my own oil changes, even though I have a 4-post lift. I take my own Mobil 1 and filter to my dealer...they charge me a whopping $9.50 to do the messy task. While I'm there I walk around the lot and look at all the new cars, chit/chat with the salesmen about corvettes, and joke around with all the people I know from years of service there. They bring the car out front when done and I hop in and go...worth the few bucks I spent and I don't have to deal with the used oil etc.

Also have not reshoed my horse lately and buggy seems to be OK. Of course, understand totally why someone would need to change oil every 3 months because we all know it breaks down after time, not use.

At one time I had a 96 CE and a 98 which were both museum delivery. I got rid to the 98 to get a 1962 Vette. I still have the 96 and the 62, and just ordered a silver vert 11/5. But after a few weeks of wording about how I would be able to travel safely with my dog in the Vert I switched to a coupe. The Vert never made it past 1100 and now the coupe is stuck at 1100. Some of the options I ordered are on constraint and it may take a long time before the C7 arrives I will be happy to see it get to 2000

You can get a free one at 7500 and 15000, 22500 and then the rest are on you.
I wouldn't bet on this and I would have to believe that it is dealer dependent.....my wife takes her Escalade to a local dealer (we didn't even buy the vehicle there!) and they change the oil every ~4K miles with no questions asked.
4-wheel tire rotation
Now this may be a little hard on a C7
