Default What size blind spot mirrors are ya'll putting on side mirrors?

I heard on the boards that the blind spot on the left side is pretty severe unless you get a little round mirror from walmart. I am going to be picking up the car and driving it back maybe in harsh weather and need to have mirrors with me. How big of blindspot mirror 1/2 1" 1.5" 2" what do ya'll suggest? And can you really find them in wallymart?

No, I'm not. The 3" maybe a 2 1/2". I've had them all my 'vettes and other cars. The small is the driver mirror, it's close to you. The passenger mirror is farther from you, hence the larger mirror.

I wouldn't be opposed to that either. I just can't adjust these as some have suggested in order to eliminate the blind spot.

That's a great illustration Glen e! Most people do not adjust their mirrors properly - they have them pointed too far "inward" as in figures 2 and 5.

I adjust my mirrors "correctly" too but there are still blind spots. Maybe it's my seating position but they do exist. At night if the car is just right I can not tell there's a car there.

Waiting for someone to produce a "euro" mirror for the C7.

Me too but on the C7 you need to push them out further. Pretty simple.... adjust and watch on the freeway when cars come up on you if you see them in all the mirrors and over your shoulder.

Also be extra careful changing lanes in a right hand turn as the angle cuts off you view even more. Best to swivel your head.

I don't need any blind spot monitors because they are a help but not a substitute for basic driver skills.

I don't use any blind spot mirrors. I just adjust my mirrors properly and the blind spots are gone.

For those who are looking for a blind spot mirror that is a little bigger, these will look awesome on your new Corvette! And they're only $6.99...a small price to pay to protect such a large investment!
