Tight turns backing out of a driveway or parking space or wherever is going to cause skipping/hopping. Some of it is because of the "Ackermman Effect". And some is do to the sticky tires. There are a few threads about it on the CF.

I only feel it while backing up. It's called tire chatter and is normal based on the new suspension geometry.

It is unlikely that your tires are rubbing on the body or frame. They are most likely skipping on the ground which is normal. Take the car to your dealer if your are worried about it.

I think it is completely normal for the wide, high performance tires. All of my recent 911's have done the same thing, usually only when cold however.

Assuming you haven't dropped the ride height significantly or haven't put oversized wheels/tires on there, then you are not rubbing, the tires are just hopping. And yes, it is completely normal.

Default Tires Hopping at Low Speed / Severe turning

Normal! Its a front steer vs rear steer ackerman geometry. Doesn't hurt anything.

Normal turns and highway it won't happen.

RE: tires rubbing. That shouldn't happen unless the car has been lowered, if so you went too far. My car settled after about 1000 miles and didn't need to lower it. Or putting on non OEM wheels & tires of the wrong size could cause it as well.

Default thanks

Thanks very much, i finally joined this forum but been doing alot of reading on it. I never seen anyone talk about it. I had a 2010 camaro ss and it never did that and it had wide tires also. I never lowered it but i feel alot better now knowing this is normal. It did scare me sometimes. I love this car. My only complaint would be it didnt have the nice lighting inside the car that my camaro had but other then that its a dream come true.
