I like that one quote... "The passenger, who is not allowed to touch any of this"... I didn't realize how much the controls were driver-focused until this video pointed it out.

Hey you, just sit over there and work your lowly two-button temperature control and like it, kay?

The vert looks good in white with black wheels. I think that combo takes back a little of the 'zing' that seems to be missing in comparison to the coupe.

Way out "Fricking A"!!!!!....this car on the video is nearly the same car as I just ordered today with the two exceptions. I ordered the automatic and the carbon flash hood stinger stripe. Otherwise, I'm watching some guy drive my car around town before I got my own to review on youtube.

What are those black things behind both seats on the rear deck? I hope they are body color if you don't order the carbon flash accents on the spoiler and mirrors.

I am pretty sure that the raised area behind each headrest on the verts are covered in Carbon Flash as a standard item.

They are not body color...on mine they seem to match the carbon flash.

They said they were trying to pull a younger crowd into the mix....This video and the young guy months ago at the track with really short hair.......mix good music, shoot good vids and I think this is marketed to a wide cross over crowd....it keeps me full of energy and cant wait to have it lowered, spaced, headers and programmed.....Drive on dudes.

Looks like the waterfall area could have been finished different? Something is missing or not quite up to the perfection of the dash area?

Young people love exciting cars, but most -- including the Corvette -- are too expensive (and impractical) for younger buyers. It sucks to be be young in today's job climate.

At this year's Twin Cities auto show (all manufacturers) the young people were clustered around the Scion/Subaru coupes -- great looking performance cars priced in the mid-20s -- something they might be able to afford. The new Mustang, if priced correctly, should do well in the youth market.

Maybe Chevy is reaching for 'younger' buyers in their mid 40s to mid 50s. That would still be younger than today's demographic.

I'm sure they would welcome any move to any younger demo.

I am a younger buyer, I am only 32 but this is my 2nd vette. I Bought my c6 back in 2006. I have driven and owned many high end vehicles but there is nothing like owing a vette, especially the new Stingray. How time flies
