You could probably get away doing that in all black but not red. The car looks clean but boring.

For some crazy reason i thought "C6" when i saw it also.

The body color vents makes it look more "base" and less aggressive.

I don't particularly like the monochromic look. As another said, it looks cheap. The carbon flash accents torch red nicely.

Not really a fan of this on the red car, I think it might look good on other colors but the red makes it looks cheap and chunky...not exactly what I would want on my car. Of course there are other trains of thought and taste...some people actually think chrome trim on their C5&C6 tail lights looks good.

I think it loses some appeal when the hood and side vents are the body color instead of being black. However, the back looks good to me with the black around the exhaust.

I like the vents and rear diffuser painted red but the diamond mesh in the background of the vents should still be painted black, especially the side fender vents.

Thanks for the info. I have communicated with Rich already. Great guy with very useful info. Only thing I am concerned with now is the difficulty having the lower bumper portion removed. Jerry says it is a royal PIA. I think the rear of his car looks amazing.

If the car had satin finish alloys instead of black wheels with this repaint . all good. Chevy should offer body color ducting as an option where the buyer can pick which pieces stay black or CF and which get painted. As some have said, the mesh grills inside the ducts should probably be black or CF.

My take - it looks really great on the hood, rear fender vents and lower bumper - I would have left the front fender vent and around the taillights carbon flash. It is probably because I think the hood and rear fender vents take away from the look of the ca.r

I'm not a fan but others can do as they like. The attention Lola gets in her stock form is over the top.

I think it looks much better. You should post this in the C6 forum. Many of them complain the car is too busy looking stock. I would love to see what they think.

I like the look of both, probably the Katech car would look better now with chrome wheels with the black gone.

Opinions aside, I like that it gives the car a completely different look.

At the very least, GM should offer it as an option or in the accessories catalog.

Funny how it fits on the black from the factory but just doesn't do it for me on the red.
Of course I am biased,,,,,
Maybe with the grills painted black like others have mentioned.
