I haven't seen statistics, but according to the Forum it would be about 80% manuals. I think for 2014 it will probably end up being about 60% manuals on Coupes and 70% automatics on convertibles, which is about 5% more manuals for each type than the typical breakdown is.

I bet most are autos sold right now.

I would think our large volume dealers on this site could weigh in and give us good sample data.
I would guess around 50/50 right now, maybe even higher for the auto. Agree that as time goes by the auto will gain the lead.

I too would think automatic trannys will end up being more popular, but with the manual being offered at no cost, it will be close in numbers for this model year.

I will bet it will follow past statistics of the C6, excluding MY 2005 which offered both at no cost, all other years averaged ~60% automatics and they were a cost option. This would include Coupes, Convertibles and GSs. Of course the Z06 & ZR1 only came with a manual, however, even with that said I still believe the figure total was around 60%

Been driving manual transmission since 1954(I was 12 YO and my Mom would take me out into the country on Sunday afternoons so I could learn to drive on her 1952 stick shift Bel Aire. When she was a kid, she never drove a car and it was in 1949(when she was 26 YO) when she first drove a car. She bought a new Desoto and it was her first time behind the wheel of a car and she wrecked it before she made it home. She wanted to make sure I knew how to drive before I had to face the cruel, cruel world on my own.
Now, when I get into one of my stick shift cars, I AUTOMATICALLY shift it, when necessary, into the next gear. So I guess that that makes it an automatic.

The automatic has been the big sales leader of total 'vettes sold for years. Take out the Z06 and ZR1 sales, with those models not even available yet in the C7, and I would expect ATs will be 60% or more after all the dust settles. This is the historical number.
