Default what did you use to remove emblems?

I got the stingray emblems off with a heat gun, and plastic scrapper. My problem is the adhesive GM uses. I have tried bug and tar remover, different waxes, but cant seem to get it all off. Any specific products that worked well for you?

The black GM stuff is tough ...take your time, keep it wet with goo gone and work it with your finger, right side came off easily, left side was a bitch....

I was trying to heat it up and use bug remover, but it just smears around. I will pick up some goo gone tomorrow and try that.

Try WD-40. IT has worked pretty good on lots of stuff.

WD 40 for the win. That and my finger nails got it all off. Just takes some time.

I used WD40; works like magic and won't harm the paint.

I took the Corvette script off the back side of my C7 using 3M auto adhesive remover. Worked 10 times faster than Goo Gone and didn't harm the paint or clear coat.

You can buy it at most auto parts stores. Use it in a well ventilated area- it'll get you higher than a six pack of Jack Daniels.

I use PPG grease and wax remover. I will usually tape a piece of cloth to the area, then saturate the cloth to keep it moist. After 5 or 10 minutes, I'll then start removing the adhesive.

Don't laugh. Try vegetable oil. It works.

I have been removing them for 35 years with this above method, many products remove the glue but nothing works better than the 3M Adhesive Remover because it made for this.
