Why? I bought mine from a dealer in North Dakota and it was delivered to San Diego, CA. Pretty routine practice.

I must apologize for the error in naming the transmission as it was late and I was tired. My 2011 997 Cabriolet had a PDK transmission. I have pictures of it and of my new C7. Will post them if someone shows me how. Its hard to believe the cynicism that exists on the Forum.

First you must get them up on the web at a photo hosting site like Photobucket. Then, each photo will have its own URL (web address) that you plug into the little window that pops up when you hit the little yellow landscape button in the menu at top of message compose message. The detractors are self-appointed positive C7 message poster police.

Amazing how the Porsche defenders of the faith lay poised to pounce all over any and every thread that does not paint their beloved icon in a good light.

The NEW OP mentioned not that long ago he has owned 7 P-Cars, somehow it is now 8. He was tired of paying $300 Oil Changes, should shop around, I pay under $200 and it is once a year, not a lot of money at all if you can afford a 911.

Well, I am a Porsche owner (currently have an '87 Carrera 3.2 and an '05 Carrera S), and I do defend them, both, because they are wonderful cars. However, as I just ordered a C7, I can clearly see the merits of this fantastic new model as well. I hope you can see that there are many Porsche owners who are not as you describe.

I'm new to this forum, but a veteran at many Porsche sites, and it has been my experience, as someone with a foot in each camp, that Porsche owners have a great deal of respect for modern Corvettes as highly capable sports cars. You don't seem to have much respect for Porsche owners, and that's too bad. I hope I can change your perception.

Whenever the word Porsche is mentioned on this forum this dude jumps at the opportunity to diss Porsches and their owners. It is unfortunate that he is so shortsided that he cannot realize tha both Porsches and Corvettes are wonderful cars.

Yes he does, I have learned to ignore him, it is funny even the Vette Loyalists do not seem to pay attention to him.
