Just makes me wonder why all the negative vibes ? You log on and it's depressing with all the nit picking and this and that. It reminds me of watching 24/7 cable . What happened to car crazy people and the love of technology and speed ?

I have been to about 5 car show /cruise in's and so many people really like what Corvette team did. Ford people or Mopar fans seem to think this thing is spot on. You would not believe the crowd this car draws. No negative comments , maybe a few wise guys. I really don't care what people on this forum say. But I have not experience this with my car after 10 weeks. Maybe people need to take a test before posting. You guys come up with the test.

because there a huge amount of people that love to instigate and watch other people get upset when something they like is dinged....exists on every car and boat forum I've ever been on....

People buy into unrealistic hype and then find that something like the paint is not perfect and feel as though they have been screwed. Mine is much more car than what I paid for.
Nothing worse than unrealistic expectations.

I see just as many haters, relatively speaking of course, in the C6 forum. I find this quite surprising for a car that was at the top of its game for nearly a decade. GM got it right with the C6, and somehow improved on it in many ways with the C7.

Bottom line is, if the C6 can still have so many haters after so long, why would it be surprising to anyone that the same holds true for the C7?

Its a 2013 thing OP...nit picking/whining about any and every thing. You know like why people "hate" this or that who cares ...are you not going to buy a "7" because of comments on this forum or does typied comments hurt your feelings. Get one/have one enjoy the heck out of it...jmho

For such a successful car why so many haters? You realize that nothing unsuccessful gets haters right? The more successful anything or anyone gets, the more haters will seek to pull it down. That's the natural order of things.

The answer is really simpler than most people think. Everything in life is measured against expectations, and when something comes out with a lot of hype and fanfare it usually never meets the often unrealistic expectations people have built up in their minds.

What is up with the trendy term "haters" that is thrown at anyone who has a different opinion? Real hate is something that most people will never feel. It goes both ways as there has been plenty of ridicule going both directions. Almost all of us here are car guys and a mutual respect for the love of our 4 wheel hobby is what brings most together. Some like Chevrolet, some like Mopar and some like Ford. And yes even some guys like imports. Not many have the means to purchase all of the above but just because we like different things, doesn't mean we hate something. I see the beauty in women of all kinds of shapes, sizes, hair/eye colors and so on but I do have a thing for a full, round, well devolped body with blue or green eyes and the lighter colored hair. Does that mean that I hate a skinny brunette with brown eyes? I mean really, c'mon people. This website can be so helpful for so many things but when we get someone stirring the pot for no reason other than stirring the pot, how can that add value to the website? Life can throw us real problems without have to make some BS issue because some people have to much time on their hands.

Or restrict it to people that either already have a C7 or have one on order. Seems like a lot of the pot stirring comes from those that don't.

What do you think this is , which I have owned for 9 weeks now. Maybe hate is the wrong word, maybe a psychiatrist could come up with a better one. I sure can't.
