How does anybody over 6'3 and a wide build

Fit in the new stingray?
I went to a local dealer yesterday and got to sit in the new c7. I played with that seat for at least 10 minutes and I couldn't for the life of me fit and get comfortable. I tried all the tricks I've read on here and then I went right over and sat in a left over c6 and fit perfect with room to spare.
I don't care what Chevy says about the interior specs being the same the c7 is much tighter and unfortunately I can not be a buyer.
The salesman said at the end that he knew I wouldn't fit and anyone that's 6'2 or taller and has sat in the c7 has had the same experience as me.
What was chevy thinking making the car so small? I don't get it.

Im 6'4 and 220lbs. It is somewhat tight I suppose, an extra inch or even half an inch would make all the difference but it is doable and I still feel comfortable. My knee has hit the trunk release button on several occasions though. Lol

Well I am 6'7" and I can say that each generation that comes along gets a little bit tighter. My C5 was best, then the C6 got tighter. I do fit in the C7 but it is tighter still, no matter how they crunch the numbers and tell us it's the same. I DO know how to adjust the seat, yet I have lost half the distance I have in my C6 from my knee to the dash and from my head to the roof, and there is no way to make it better. My hair is brushing the ceiling. Impossible for me to wear a helmet in this car under any circumstance. Maybe comp seats could possibly help. Bottom line though is that I do fit, but any more shrinkage on the next generation and I'm out of the game.

All this is a little confusing to me. I'm 6'3" and 220 with a 34" inseam and I have absolutely no problem fitting in the C7 and there is adequate helmet headroom as well. Laterally, it is snug, but I would call it properly snug, the same as my C4 was.
Perhaps it is just that some of us carry more of our height in the upper torso and more of our weight in our lower waist and not distributed optimally?
I know that in some other cars I have to move the seat forward 1/2" to 1" in order to recline the seatback sufficiently to get adequate headroom. It is true that many cars are like that, including my C5.

Look at the brighter side ..... you tall guys do not need blocks on the pedals so that you can reach the pedals like some of us shorter guys.

Hi Guys,
I've been a huge corvette fan my whole life. I've had three vets in the past few years including a 2010 gas and a 2012 gs. I can say the c6 didn't leave a lot of room for me on the inside. The c5 had just the right amount of space. After reading threads on the forum about interior space I'm a little concerned.
I'm 6'7" and 260. From what I'm hearing I should fit but it will be tight. Could someone close to my size do me a huge favor a post a video of them in their c7? I'm curious to see what the space feels like.
Thanks guys!

I love my 7 spd, and that's the only transmission available on the Premier Edition, but I would really rather have the auto. I think if you want to drive the car in comfort, you should go for the auto.
One other thing. When I first tested a C7 for comfort I had a difficult time adjusting the seat. You WILL need the seat in the lowest position it will go, then make the rest of the adjustments from there.

You do realize the bolster adjustment on the 2LT & 3LT only makes the seats narrower, so for us wider/bigger guys (I wear a size 50 jacket) that is completely irrelevant. I find the seats narrower than those on my C6, but it may just be the additional bolster length.

This is my story as well! I think a lot depends on your body proportion! Evidently, my legs are longer than my torso so I fit in it very well!

That's what I did and could not fit well at all so I bought this instead.
Let the flaming commence but I could give a "F". I absolutely love the Shelby.
