Default condensed cold water dripping on blazing hot exhaust?

I parked my car in garage after 40 miles highway driving with AC on. Then I popped the hood and accidently heard sizzling sound from passenger side of the engine chamber. Sounds like to me cold condensed water dripping on blazing hot exhaust pipe.

Anyone else has noticed the same thing? Does that effect exhaust pipe life span or it's just my own concern?

Another question is about the oil filter. Anyone has lifted their C7 and taken a look at the oil filter? Is that filter a flat bottom one? Or does this oil filter magnet fit C7? (I only got a ramp, and vette by nature is not ramp friendly)

I have also experienced the sizzling - very disturbing. I know others have seen it too from an earlier post.

Thanks for sharing ur experience. Then the AC condensor must be right on top of exhaust pipe. Not good. Anyone can confirm this?

I change my own oil and the magnet fits just fine.
