Thanks Mike
After having read numerous testimonials about Mike Furman on this forum, I can now add mine. I picked up my Torch Red (nicknamed "Arrest Me Red" by a friend) 2LT from Mike this morning. My wife and I were flying in and arranged to meet Mike at 8:30 in the morning. Well, our flight landed early and my sister, who picked us up, was there early. We arrived Criswell at 8:00 this morning and expected a short wait since we were early. Mike was already there and waiting on us. A true gentleman, he made the process as painless as possible and took the time to explain the significant differences between my C6 and my new C7 before we hit the road.
The drive home was about 200 miles. The first half was on interstate, then I hopped of onto back roads to enjoy the shifting and winding roads. Started in Wet because the roads were wet, then Econ, then Touring, then Sport. My wife turned and looked at me shortly after I selected Sport and said, "You turned the sound up, didn't you?" The radio now had to compete with the growl of the engine and she noticed. With a big smile, I said "Yes." I think it will stay in Sport most of the time.
Tomorrow is wash, wax, and seal. Then I will dive into the manuals to figure out all of the other electronic options. Today was just driving and it was a blast.
Thanks Mike,
Steve

Mike Furman is undoubtedly the most helpful vendor I have dealt with on this forum. Knowing that I am trying to buy from a small dealership in Williamsburg, VA. he still took every one of my calls for advice on choosing my options and counseling me on handling of constraints and allocation pick-up. All calls and e-mails were returned/ answered within an hour!

301 212 4420 Mike Furman Criswell Chevrolet
I had a feeling that I should be at the Dealership earlier then Saturday(yesterday) 8:30am so I arrived at 7:30am to make sure the Stingray delivery was cleaned properly the night before. The side door opened and we had never met but Steve had a huge grin on his face so I could tell he must have viewed his Stingray in the delivery area outside my office! Below are some pictures of his 4th Corvette that he has owned. Steve's first was a 1973 Corvette that he bought brand new upon graduating from the Air Force Academy.

Drifting
Steve, be careful about the seal part. Some manufacturers want you to wait until the paint has fully cured (usually within 90 days) before sealing. They'll say something about it in the owners manual in maintenance section.
