YUCK. The coldest I’ve ever been in is -17 and I didn’t like that. Don’t want to compete with others for coldest weather. Don

I had my C7 out yesterday at -10 just for a Sunday drive. It was cold, but sunny and the roads were clear. It has the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's on it and had plenty of grip.

I thought about driving it to the office today, but with prolonged temps at -20, I start to worry about black ice forming, so I took the Silverado instead. At these temps, any mishap in the Corvette I am sure would shatter it into shards of brittle plastic. The pickup is a bit more robust should it slide into a curb or snowbank.

My fears were realized a bit. I had to put the Silverado into 4x4 mode in downtown St. Paul after the back end broke loose a few times just going around city block corners at low speeds in 2WD on what looked like cleared pavement.

Because we are frozen in place. Oh why did I not go to the CES this year?

The way mine hopped at 30 degrees, I doubt they will turn at all below zero.

My new C7 was to be delivered to my house today via roll back truck.
With -21 degrees and wind chills to -50 degrees we decided to try another day. Not like I'm going anywhere with it anyway. I'm with whoever posted "Why to we live here?"

It's miserable here to. It is currently 57 and will be 70 today.

I came here form Wisconsin. I've been through those temps for many, many years. As low as -22. Not anymore, thank you. When it did get that cold, I actually thought it was fun. But only for a few days.

20's in NE FL tonight. My C7 is safe in a heated garage in MI however. I sure hope nobody drove theirs in that extreme cold. It's just not right! Be safe, be warm.

It was -10 below here in Kansas City today.

I finally took my Stingray to my friend's house-he has a 3 car garage and only 2 cars. I have a 2 car garage. My daily driver (Acura TL Type S) and my wife's car are there now.

I don't know but may find out if the streets stay dry.... and I will post it. I do know last year at 2 degress my GS broke loose in 4th gear under light acceleration. There is no traction with summer tires in many cars less in a vette.

Summer tires at below-zero temps are going to be an "interesting" ride.
