There's always the guy/place I got the ones for my C6. You might want to check with Gene.:

You are welcome. In purchasing $100 splash guards from him I felt like I was treated the same as if I was purchasing a $10,000.00 crate motor. I will ALWAYS gladly recommended someone like that!

I went by my local dealership today and asked them how much they would charge to install the splash guards and they told me $189.50 for labor only. I just look at him and said that is a little crazy and walked away

My dealer told me $145 for labor and I told him he was nuts, as they can be installed in what, 30 min max?

GM did an excellent job on the design. Remove one bolt, snap off splash block, and install splash guard, snap in clips and reinstall the screw. No need for a dealer install.

is this the procedure for C7 also?
the wheelwells have the thick magic carpet material that comes almost to the edge. doesn't look quite so simple. i don't have the car yet, so i am working from memory here, so i could be totally wrong.

Well it is not the procedure for the C6 so I'm guessing that's what it is on the C7.

Unscrew one screw at the bottom of the wheel well, remove existing guard block, replace with new and reinstall screw. Piece of cake.

do you think the guards extend far enough to protect the fenders and rockers?

For C7 owners: Has anyone tried "Cleartastic" or "Cleartastic Plus" splash guards?

just installed mine .....less than 20 minutes. Wish I had done it sooner....1800 miles and much damage to rockers, fenders and doors already.

they'll definitely help, but I would still have clear bra material installed on all the surfaces below the door flare and up the front of the rear fender.
