GM is buying back the Stingray confirmed today!
Though I won't disclose all the details "YET", it will make the #hit talkers take notice who made idiotic remarks to my post!
I want to thank "KELLY J" from GM Customer Service here on the forum for her initial assistance

FORUM DEALER--MacMulkin
I would recommend contacting Tommy Jr at MacMulkin in Nashua, NH.
He can be reached at 603-888-1121 or e-mail
him at tommyjr@thompsonauto.net.
I bought my 2009 C6 from him and the transaction was flawless. I even had the car shipped directly to my house in Phoenix.

On 12/2 you stated in your last post to your thread here that you could not share the details of your G.M. buyback...... "Yet".
So, is "Yet" here...... Yet?

Scratches
Had the same problems when I picked up my new 1965 396 roadster and 2 years later when I picked up my 1967 427. Both had terrible paint problems and I was assured by dealer,at pick up, that I could bring it back in a couple of weeks to have it repaired. When I came back they pulled the old " it has more than 500 miles on it" excuse for not doing the repair. I asked for the salesman that told me to bring it back and was informed that he was no longer with the dealership. I spent the next month ranting and raving to GM reps. They finally gave in both times and put both the cars in the paint shop for repair. You just have to keep on ranting. The squeaky wheel is the only one that gets the grease.

However , today 1/6/2014 GM officially re-purchased the C7 , full 100% refund .
I had the C7 since Oct 26, 2013 and put over 2100 miles on it and towards the final hours had a lot less rubber on the rears
It came down to several issues with the C7, bad paint, panels mis-aligned, orange peel etc. Dealer not disclosing damages to the C7 (fender & lights replaced)
But the nail in the coffin as they write, was found by accident. When I activated the OnStar weeks after the purchase, the advisor greeted me with "Goodmorning Ms %%^%&^" and I reply must be a mistake and advisor said "No, this Corvette Stingray is registered to Ms %%^%&^"
So without stating the obvious, I brought this matter to GM's attention and the next day , they agreed to do the buy-back!

"In honor of jpee"
I must be thick: are you saying the car was sold and delivered to a Ms. X before you? And that this car was then sold to you as brand new?

They GM + DEALER never admitted this and would be on the DEALER, but when I brought to GM's attention after weeks of not moving forward, it was a game changer that brought the BUY BACK to the table!

If that truly is the case, I can see some sanctions for Sands Chevrolet which the public will never know about. At the least, I can see a gen sales mgr. departing.

Thanks for the updates.
Wierd set of circumstances here. Running a VIS history might have also given you part of the history as well.
Not sure how Sands could sell a new 2014 C7 to a customer, and then sell it new to you. And the body panels being damaged and replaced is really questionable as well.

Shortly after getting those reports , it was a week after that I activated OnStar that the discovery was made about prior sale!
Now if your the dealer and sold a new car to a family member and short while later , family member changes his/HER mind because of the damages to said vehicle and Dealer is in control of sale contracts and reports to DMV , what better way to make documents magically disappear and bring back the C7 and slap it with a $10,000 market adjustment price !! And just relay to new buyer that original buyer just backed-out........ Understand ??
