For those of us who want to keep our dealers honest....

How do you check the car's REV history ?
How many miles did your car have at delivery ?

I'm looking to avoid the Dealer "Joy Ride" phenomenon.

I may be out of the country when mine arrives. I've already spoken to my dealer about my concerns and have received reassurances that the car would be roped off in the showroom - but I'd love to have access to a remote camera to see what actually goes on!

Maybe OnStar has an answer. We had one guy who got his dealer to activate OnStar while his car was in Nashville and he followed his C7 from it.

I remember reading somewhere that the car records it's REV history... maybe it was in track mode ?

I know that there have already been a few Shenanigans at some dealers and want to avoid the angry confrontation.

Dealer I'm working with wants to put me under contract (including finance) BEFORE car arrives.

Every time I've asked them to track the car and give me an ETA, they tactfully side step the request.

All of this is leading me to become concerned and I will be traveling five hours away to pick up a car I hope has NOT been played with in any fashion.
