Default Has ANYBODY taken delivery of a C7 with racing stripes yet?

I know I'm in the minority of people who like the full-length racing stripes. Most people seem to think they're ricey or Mustang-y, but whatevs, I dig em. Point of this thread is to try to find some people who have the stripes so they can hopefully show us some of their unique color combos. I haven't seen any stripes anywhere yet.

There's no way I can be the only person here who likes the stripes... is there? (I really hope not, otherwise they might be gone by the time I'm ready to buy)

Or was there a production constraint that has made it such that early orders could not have the stripes?

I do not hate them but I do have a strong dislike for them

A friend of mine has an uncle who got a white one with black stripes. I have seen it but do not have a picture at the moment. Looks good though.

Default Stripes and Badges - Which came first?? Ha

I have one coming but have not taken receipt yet. I do have a question for anyone that is in the know. Are the stripes installed by the dealer? I am just curious as I want to de-badge my car which includes the rear corvette badge which looks to sit on top of the dual stripes. Does anyone know if the stripes are cut around the badges or do they rest on top? I'm just wondering how this works so I can take the right actions instead of being retroactive to situation. In other words if the dealer installs the stripes and has to remove the badges to install I could just ask them to leave off the rear corvette badge. Any advice would be nice.

Thanks

Default We have strips and love them

Here's our NRB with cyber-grey strips. Big hit at the local Corvette club meeting. Strips break up the solid paint a little.

I have stripes on my order too. A forum member posted an email from the factory saying he was first to get full stripes about 2 weeks ago. So, factory installed but, I'm sure a dealer can install them later...if you trust them.
Badges are placed over the stripes on factory installs. I don't think a dealer would have an issue leaving them off if you have them install the stripes but the factory installed option would come badges on

Stunning! Love it! Does the rear corvette badges sit on top of the stripe?

Ok well that answers my question. Thanks. So in order to remove I would have to more than likely replace the back stripe you think?

I think if you're gentle with the heat and floss, you won't have to. But I don't know for certain

Saw at local dealer! White with Crystal Red stripe, looked amazing in person! I never would have considered it, until I saw it in person!

My skivvies have racing stripes can I post a picture of my skivvies?

On a more serious note after seeing the pictures of the cars some of the stripes look good to me even though I would not them on my car.

I like'em....

I think it also helps the looks of the car if you have the solid body color paint roof.

Playing with the online configurator and came up with this combo. What do you think?

Like blue and silver a lot better personally. And not sure why they are not offering white stripes. they have black so only makes sense they would offer white.
