Well I ordered CRT with carbon black stripes. Here's also a pic of my car coming off the line on Monday. My factory contact says they apply the stripes off line. Make sense considering the line moves. Notice the badges are already on the car.

If I were to order one today I'd get yellow or red with the black stripes. Silver stripes might be sweet too.

Check out this yellow and black on one eBay right now. Looks sweet IMHO.

That Vette looks great. I am just waiting on mine, ordered it 2 weekends ago. I ordered the NRB with blade silver stripes and black rims. I am so excited and very anxious, I just can't wait lol. Thanks for showing the car, now I get a general idea of what she is gonna look like.

There's no way I can be the only person here who likes the stripes... is there? (I really hope not, otherwise they might be gone by the time I'm ready to buy)

Or was there a production constraint that has made it such that early orders could not have the stripes?
good question. i think that some colors look better with them, and others not so much--depends on the color. to me personally, if it looks like youre flaunting your racing proclivities, its probably not going to endear you to a lot of people, but thats more of a personal issue.

i have a cyber grey (or, more accurately, will in several days) and intend to have the (single) stripe from the hood vents, back to the windows put on when i can find a credible painter. sorry, cant provide any pics, but if you search the web, you should be able to find some. try google images (if you know how to use that) as a likely source. the silver-like color (2014) looks like it was made to have the stripe (in black, ive seen pics and it looks great, imo), i think. that, along with the black wheels. its all a matter of taste--oh, yea, and resale value. my guess is that you are limiting the available buyers with a stripe on any car, since you can always add it, but more problematic to remove it and match the original color. be well.

As I understand it, the factory applies the Stripes off-line; and, that makes sense considering the line moves. If that is correct, the badges and lettering are on the car before the stripes are applied. I would like to "clean-up" the rear of my C7 by removing the "CORVETTE" letters. However, I'm not sure about possibly damaging the Stripes if I remove the badges and/or lettering now. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? Has anyone with the Stripes actually removed the badges/lettering? Thanks!

Are the stripes decals or are they painted on the car?

Decals and they are installed prior to the badges being placed on the car

I am surprised how rare the stripe option is. I know there aren't a lot of combinations that looks good, but I am still surprised.

I had them put the CF dual stripes on the LB I pick-up next week , though they won't stay on long as the whole C7 after arrival is getting a complete makeover

Here's my striped C7. Had it done locally because when I placed my order (my vin is 85) stripes weren't available to order.
