c7 convertible or hard top???
hey all,
i have a c6 convertible and looking to upgrade.
i live in florida so i like the convertible open and close being easy..what i don't like is the noise at highway speeds on the convertible..
i am hoping the c7 will be quieter
so the question is hardtop vs convertible
does anyone think the c7 convertible is going to be quieter then the c6? also how much of a noise difference hardtop vs convertible?
i know its tough since the convertible is not out yet...but help me with this decision please
i also do like the look of the c7 hardtop better..

Burning Brakes
I have heard some say the Hardtop is louder than the Vert due to the Targa making noise.
I personally like the lines of the Hard Top much better, but I guess it depends how often you think you will have the top down. If often I would stick with the Vert, if only 20% of the time I would try a Hard Top this time.
You really can not go wrong either way........

Melting Slicks
Maybe we should swap cars.
I have a C6 coupe but will probably order a C7 vert after I get to at least sit in one.
The coupe with roof removed requires wearing a hat at highway speed because of how the wind whips around. The roof panel, though reasonably light, is bulky and does not lend itself to frequent removals and installations. I am looking forward to the ease of push button toplessness.
As far as noise goes, stereo up and conversation down.
